Flender Group Taps Into India's Fashion Landscape

Flender Group's recent trip to India offered valuable insights into the developing fashion landscape of the region. Over the 6-day visit, we tapped into the cities of Delhi and Mumbai, exploring a diverse array of social touch-points while connecting with our long-time partners and new prospective customers. 



Street fashion is developing rapidly in India, with many new subcultures emerging alongside malls & retail stores in the 10 months since our last visit and five years of selling Carhartt WIP (Work In Progress), Jason Markk, and other skate wear labels such as HUF and RIPNDIP. Through observations from store visits and feedback from our partners, the Flender team gained a more nuanced understanding of the unique drivers behind India's fashion consumer choices.


These insights will inform future strategic decisions in brand development across our portfolio, with a clear goal to unlock the full potential of the region.
