Carhartt WIP's October Radio Show Taps into The World Of London Producer Bullion Ness

Carhartt WIP has welcomed London based producer and songwriter @bullionness for their October 2024 Radio Show.

Bullion made his debut in 2007 with the mashup EP Pet Sounds: In the Key of Dee, which combined Beach Boys and J Dilla songs. Bullion developed this sample-led style further with the 2011 release of You Drive Me to Plastic, a 20-minute composition made up of samples from ancient vinyl records, YouTube footage, and unintentional recordings. Before launching his own label, DEEK Recordings, in 2012 with the release of his 80s-pop-tinged EP "Love Me Oh Please Love Me," Bullion worked on a number of projects for other labels.

Along with his numerous solo projects, Bullion frequently collaborates with other artists, including @niluferyanyaaaaaa, @sampha, @avalon9000, and @benhoward_. Bullion's latest album, Affection, emphasizes the collaborative aspect, with contributions from @carlyraejepsen, @pandabearofficial, and @adigerwww.

Bullion's mix for this episode features a colorful blend of his solo work, production for other musicians, and chosen remixes. Listen to the mix and read the accompanying interview via the link below:
