From producing peaceful, downtempo sounds and rich, jazz-inspired textures to fusing mid-tempo dance with traces of Chinese classical music, the artist has become one of the most varied producers in electronic music since the release of her debut EP, Preparation for Departure, in 2018.
With her debut album Yellow River Blue, recorded during a winter tour of mainland China, Su co-founded the label @bie_records in 2021. The album features dubbed-out bass, shimmering synths, and elements of 90s trip-hop.
